Buzzer beater — literally 'pressing-the-whistle ball'. Used for any last-second clutch action where something is delivered or decided with essentially no time remaining. The phrase has become shorthand for anyone who consistently operates at the absolute last moment.

“控卫”
Point guard — literally 'control guard'. The one who manages, directs, and controls the flow of the game. In Chinese workplace and everyday language it describes whoever is actually steering a situation, project, or group — the person who controls the ball and decides where it goes.

Full-court press / pressing defence — relentless, suffocating pressure applied across the whole field. In Chinese everyday language it describes a situation or person that applies total, aggressive, unrelenting pressure from the very start, giving no room to breathe or reset.
